Jeannine Louise grew up in a charming small town in northeast Ohio, surrounded by a close-knit Amish community. This unique upbringing taught her the values of tolerance, understanding, and embracing differences. With a graduating class of just 100 students, Jeannine’s roots are deeply connected to the simplicity of country life.
Her horizons expanded when she attended Ohio State University, a place far larger than her hometown, where she pursued her education and even studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria. During her summer abroad, she explored Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Liechtenstein—an experience filled with awe at the ringing cowbells, breathtaking landscapes, and magnificent, gold-adorned churches.
Today, Jeannine is a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, cherishing her two daughters, their families, and her growing legacy, even though distance keeps their visits rare.
After caregiving for her beloved husband for four years, Jeannine was widowed in 2023. This profound life shift inspired her to pursue a long-held dream of becoming an author. Writing has become her creative outlet, alongside her passions for sewing, jewelry making, Christmas crafting, and playing the piano—though diminishing eyesight has made these hobbies more challenging.
Through her work, Jeannine hopes to inspire readers with heartfelt stories, blending personal experiences with imagination, reminding us all that it's never too late to follow your dreams.
